Vehicle Branding

Vehicles are a good opportunity to spread awareness of the McConnell Dowell brand, as they are seen on roads and freeways across the regions we work in.

Where possible all our vehicles should reflect the branding associated with McConnell Dowell - with strong use of our 'hero green' colour, our logo and 'dynamic beams', being clearly displayed.

Low Carbon Vehicles & Equipment

NetZero banner

As part of our ESG focus, we will continue to move more of our vehicle and equipment fleet to electricity, as we progress towards our net zero carbon target.

This includes the introduction of hybrid and electric vehicles, as well as solarators in place of diesel generators on some of our project sites.

To identify and market these pieces, we have designed a 'Towards Net Zero' graphic that should be applied to all applicable vehicles and equipment.

Towards Net Zero badge

The artwork is set at 500mm diameter, but can be scaled larger or smaller to suit the purpose.

For application on vehicles, this badge should replace the Home without Harm logo towards the rear of vehicle. See image below:

For full Electric Vehicles (EVs) that are new to the fleet, special EV wraps should be applied:

Spot or PMS colours

Local printers may ask for the Spot, Pantone or 'PMS' colours for your vehicle branding request. These are colours the printer will match to, ensuring the consistant colouring is achieved across the entire fleet globally.

Other vehicles or equipment:

Where possible; any vehicle or large-scale equipment that will be used on-site should be McConnell Dowell branded. This includes cranes, shipping containers, tippers etc.

Keep to the brand guidelines when branding these . Ensure the MCD logo is not distorted, broken apart or manipulated in anyway, it should sit in clear space on the side, front or back of any vehicle or equipment.

Our Dynamic Beams graphic on the other hand are designed to be flexible and can be rotated, flipped and wrapped around an object or surface in a number of ways - for full, correct use, of Dynamic Beams, click here.

Please ensure suppliers are provided with the proper companyHome Without Harm and Towards Net Zero logos, as laid out in these guidelines.

Cranes

A crane is a good opportunity to achieve large-format branding in a very visible location.

To maximise branding potential the McConnell Dowell is placed in a single line along the length of the 'boom arm'. See below:

 Crane signage

Note this use of the logo is ONLY for crane signage, it should not occur in any other instances.

For JV branding between Built Environs and McConnell Dowell projects, branding will be decided on a strategic basis.
