We designed, constructed, and commissioned a new jetty and associated handling facilities for Petronas, as part of their RAPID (refinery and petrochemical integrated development) project in Malaysia.
The main element of our scope was a Solid Products Handling Jetty, comprising a 1300 m long trestle, a 710 m long jetty head, two container berths, and a sulfur loading berth.
We also delivered topside and landside material handling systems for sulfur, with loaders, unloaders, and all associated mechanical and electrical works.
Our onshore civil works comprised a container stacking yard, truck, and trailer parks, a workshop area, roads, and site utilities.
We also constructed industrial buildings comprising a 450 m-long sulfur stockpile warehouse, a terminal operations building, an administration building, a workshop, substations, and other ancillary facilities.
The project duration was 30 months, which included an extensive six months of engineering design.
