As part of our ongoing commitment to supporting the communities where we work, McConnell Dowell, the principal contractor for Unitywater's Aura and Harmony Program, has donated a $1500 Milwaukee Kit to the Caloundra Men's Shed.
We committed to donate excess small tools to the shed, and it's exciting to see this come to fruition, as the Aura and Harmony Program nears completion.
MCD Construction Manager Grant Gibson, and Stakeholder Engagement Manager Purdey Wikman joined Alex and Mick from the Caloundra Men's Shed, which boasts a membership of more than 80 men and women from the Caloundra area.
Members of Men's Sheds come from all walks of life, united by a bond of community-minded people who are willing to help others. They work on community projects and provide a safe and happy environment, enhancing the health and wellbeing of all members.
