We love engaging with the schools around our projects and bringing real life engineering and construction into the classroom.
Recently it was Pacific Lutheran College, a school local to the Aura and Harmony Program on the Sunshine Coast of Queensland. They invited us to talk about all things water and wastewater, which is logical, given we're constructing a network of these vital services to support their growing region.
The students enjoyed learning ‘Where exactly does their poo go?’ (with many laughs of course) and creating artwork which was then stuck to the wastewater pipeline ahead of it being pulled into the drilled section of works.
These fantastic students are now junior pipeliners in the making, with their stamp of approval on an important pipeline which will service their growing community for many years to come.
