Solar bus shelters at Deer Park Station

Generating 80,000kWh of Renewable Energy at Deer Park Station

As part of the Deer Park Station Upgrade, in collaboration with Iberdrola, we have installed two solar bus shelters, each over 65 meters long, with a total capacity of 65kW. These shelters are expected to produce 80,000 kWh of renewable energy annually.

The bus shelter roofs are constructed entirely from solar panels and include a water protection system and vandal-resistant cladding underneath.

The 65kW array provides power directly to the station building and is projected to offset nearly 4,000 MWh of electricity over the asset's lifetime.
