Recycled Plastic in Shared User Path

Our team on the Narre Warren - Cranbourne Road Upgrade used nearly eight and a half TONNES of plastic to reinforce the concrete to build the shared walking and cycling path!

The path incorporates recycled plastic filaments across 1680 cubic metres of concrete, giving the same strength and integrity as steel, but in cheaper and more environmentally friendly way.

That’s a whole heap of bottles out of landfill and just another way we’re making these projects better for the community and the planet ♻️
