With the Diggers Rest level crossing removal project in Victoria in full swing, our project team dug deep to help out a fantastic local charity, CareWorks SunRanges, with a month-long grocery donation drive.
The CareWorks team run a food bank and local drop-in centre, providing assistance to around 60 homes in Sunbury each week.
When the donation drive was announced, the Diggers Rest team got straight to work collecting pantry staples such as pasta, coffee, canned goods and toiletries, and the CareWorks team were pretty thrilled to see box after box coming out of the McConnell Dowell ute when we dropped in to deliver the goods.
Thanks to our team members who donated! It was really great to be able to help out such an important charity in the area that we are working in.
